NEWSPAPER

The PENDULUM is Galileo's official newspaper, published by the Journalism class. The purpose of the paper is to create student concern and expression of opinion; to act as a means of unifying the school; to encourage and stimulate worthwhile activities; to develop better inter-school relationships, and to reflect the idealism and express the spirit of the school. The first issue of the school newspaper was dated March 22, 1922.

YEARBOOK

Since 1921, the Telescope, Galileo's official yearbook, has kept a chronicle of each year's events. Published by the yearbook class, the Telescope keeps each year's memories alive through studio portraits and student-taken candid photographs of most events occurring before our final deadline (usually in mid-March). We feature a color section and also offer students and parents an opportunity to by pages in the book for personal farewell messages.
